What are CBD pre-rolls?

Do CBD pre-rolls get you high?
This is another very common question we are asked, mainly due to so much conflicting information.
A legal CBD pre roll won’t get you high. Now, with that said we need to break down the question further and provide a list of variables and important information.
The farm bill 2018 gave cannabis plants that contain <0.3% THC the legal status of hemp. So, a legal hemp derived joint will only contain <0.3% THC or less.
However; there are many lower quality options that do not undergo the standard of testing or protocols we use in order to ensure our product is compliant.
A non-compliant CBD pre-roll can and often does contain higher amounts of THC and even higher amounts of THCa (The acidic precursor to THC) which, when heated (smoked) will convert (decarboxylate) into THC. Which could give you a little high. More often than not, you would just feel more relaxed and calm.
Are CBD pre-Rolls legal?
CBD Hemp Pre-Rolls are federally legal as Per the 2018 Farm Bill, Cannabis sativa products that contain less than 0.3% THC are not considered to be marijuana and therefor legal.

Do hemp pre-rolls get you high?
As previously mentioned, CBD pre rolls do not get you high. CBD is non intoxicating, unlike it’s counterpart THC. There are some strains of hemp flower that are high in THCa, which can give you the feeling of enhanced relaxation, and what some might say, a very low ‘high’.
You absolutely will not get the same effects as high THC marijuanna/cannabis does.
Are Hemp pre-Rolls legal?
Hemp pre rolls are the same as ‘CBD Pre Rolls’ the term hemp predominantly refers to high CBD cannabis. High CBG strains are also widely available now. So when you see the term ‘Hemp Pre-Rolls’ it’s likely referring to one or the other.

Do hemp pre-rolls have CBD?
High CBD hemp flower pre-rolls will absolutely have CBD. As we have mentioned, there are many strains of Hemp that contain high CBG now available.
When looking for hemp with high CBD, you absolutely must be checking the product lab reports to ascertain the contents and potency. Some hemp smokes are made from the trimmings, leaf and other /waste’ material. Always look for 100% flower pre-rolls and double check the cannabinoid contents and potency via the lab reports.
Will hemp papers fail a drug test?
Hemp papers are predominantly made from stems and stalk fibers. As such they will not contain any cannabinoids. They are essentially just ‘paper’ made from hemp.
You will not fail a drugs test using hemp rolling papers.
Do I have to smoke a whole pre roll?
Absolutely not. You can smoke as little or as much as you feel you need to. While stubbing out and relighting a pre-roll might not give you the best experience in terms of flavor, there’s no harm in using 1 pre-roll for multiple sittings so to speak.
Take your time, smoke as you wish, in one go, or little and often. There are no rules to smoking hemp flower.
Will CBD show on drug test?
While CBD itself is very unlikely to cause a positive on a drugs test, other trace cannabinoids may contribute to particular metabolites building up in your system, as such, these could trigger a positive result.
If you are likely to be tested or regularly tested, you may want to either speak to your employer and advise them you’re using legal CBD products prior to undergoing testing.

Can you take too much CBD?
In theory yes you could take to much CBD, in practice, It’s very unlikely. To take to much CBD from a physical perspective you would have to ingest substantial amounts of CBD. Recent studies show that there is little to no potential for physical harm. The FDA recently funded a study to ascertain CBD’s safety and to see if there is any potential for liver damage. So far, the result has shown no evidence of liver toxicity in the 839 adults consuming oral CBD
Taking to much so that you feel nauseous or over tired would be another angle to answer this question. It is possible that taking to much full-spectrum CBD ‘for you’, will make you sleepy, possibly nauseous or, depending on the carrier or product, could give you an upset stomach.
Why does CBD make me feel high?
CBD as a compound shouldn’t be making you feel high. However, full-spectrum CBD products or high THCa hemp products, if taken in high doses could make you feel a very mild ‘high’. More relaxing than high. Calming and content.
It may be possible the product you are taking is contaminated, poor quality or contains more than the legal limit of thc. Unfortunately this is quite common among gas station or smoke shop products. These tend to be low quality, untested and there are cases where these products have been found to contain other chemicals or compounds specifically to make you feel high.
to avoid this, make sure you are buying high quality CBD products, that are fully tested for contamination, solvents, pesticides and correct potency.

CBD has been shown to increase appetite in some studies. In fact, one of the most common side effects of CBD treatment is a change in appetite

CBD hemp flower can have a distinctive aroma akin to what you might associate with traditional cannabis. The aroma can vary based on the strain and the terpene profile.

Do pre rolled joints have nicotine?
No. A quality hemp pre-roll made from 100% flower and no tobacco will not contain any nicotine. It’s not common practice to make pre-rolls with Tobacco.
However, cigar leaf ‘blunts’ will contain nicotine by default. So if you’re looking to avoid nicotine, steer clear of blunts made with cigar leaf.
How long are pre Rolls good for?
When stored properly with humidity packs, hemp flower and pre-rolls can last for a long time. If kept out of direct sunlight, fluctuating temperatures the length can also be prolonged.
